Camden Oral Health Promotion Team

The Whittington Health Community Dental Services Oral Health Promotion service in Camden and Islington is a dedicated team aiming to improve Oral Health in the boroughs. The aims and objectives of the service are to reduce Oral Health inequalities and barriers faced by vulnerable groups due to various social, economic, cultural and health implications.

This is achieved by partnering with various education, social care and healthcare services to:

  1. Provide evidence-based oral health training to staff, stakeholders and service users in line with guidance from Public Health England (PHE) Delivering Better Oral Health (DBOH) National Institute for Clinical Excellence (NICE) etc.
  2. Improve access to dental services
