We provide the following dental services:

Dental care is provided from community sites across
- Camden and Islington
- Haringey and Enfield
- Barnet, Brent and Harrow
- Hounslow, Ealing and Hillingdon
Who can make referrals into the service?
We accept referrals from general dental practitioners and other health/social care professionals.
We aim to provide a high quality dental care service for patients with the goal of reducing health inequalities and improving the oral health of the local population.
Our Services
Adult Special Care Dentistry
This is dental care for people with disabling conditions who cannot be treated in general (or "high street") dental services.
Adult Special Care Dentistry
This is dental care for people with disabling conditions who cannot be treated in general (or "high street") dental services.
Examples of special care includes those with:
- severe physical disabilities including bariatric (severely overweight) patients
- moderate to severe learning disabilities
- dental phobia
- complex medical conditions
- severe mental health problems including dementia
- long-term drug and alcohol problems
and also those that are:
- housebound such as frail elderly people
- homeless people
Access to this specialist service is by referral only and inappropriate referrals may be rejected.

Paediatric Dentistry
We specialise in the dental treatment of children who cannot be treated in general (or "high street") dental services.
Examples include young children that have
- severe anxiety and not able to cooperate, or who may need a general anaesthetic
- physical or learning disabilities
- medical conditions that require special provision
- 'Looked after' children
Access to this specialist service is by referral only.

Out of Hours Urgent Dental Care
Out of Hours Urgent Dental Care, if you have an emergency outside of normal working hours, please ring NHS 111.
Oral Surgery Service
We provide a community-based oral surgery service in Camden and Islington for patients who have been referred by their own dentist for the removal of impacted teeth, roots and wisdom teeth.
Oral Health Promotion and Education
Whittington Health Dental Services are actively working across all our boroughs to promote good dental health and reduce inequalities. For example we run oral health promotion programmes for:
