The Camden Local Offer website has information on the support available for families of children with special educational needs or disabilities (SEND), as well as information, advice and resources about the Coronavirus and how to support your child during this difficult time.
 
Tiny Happy People is a website for parents of young children (0-5 years) who are interested in learning more about children’s communication. There are lots of activity and play ideas, as well as general tips and information. We really enjoy all the video examples which bring the advice to life and offer fresh ideas while we all spend more time at home.
 
MOSAIC (Making Our Services All Integrated in Camden) is a multidisciplinary service for children and young people with disabilities and their families. Some of Camden’s speech and language therapists work within MOSAIC, along with a range of other professionals. This website has activities and strategies for supporting children’s development at home in lots of different areas and we are continuing to add more information. It is particularly aimed at young children (0-5 years), but some of the ideas may be helpful for all ages.
 
The National Autistic Society is a website for those with autism and their families. As well as a variety of information on autism, it currently has information on Coronavirus, top tips during this challenging time and some resources.
 
National Deaf Children’s Society website offers free resources, ideas, research and information for families with deaf children, including advice and support regarding Coronavirus.
 
The Mix is the UK’s leading support service for young people under 25. They can offer support for a variety of challenges facing young people - from mental health to money, from homelessness to finding a job, from break-ups to drugs. Support can be accessed online, social channels or using their free, confidential helpline.
 
ICAN is a communication charity which provides information on how to support children to develop their speech, language and communication skills. They also have information on how to talk to your child about the Coronavirus and activities that you can do at home to support their speaking and listening skills.
