How we support and invest in you

The Volunteer Team will be there to support you through your volunteering journey with us and will find you a role based on the needs of our patients and your area of interest.  Once you start you may require additional training so that you can carry out your role safely and effectively. 

As a volunteer you will be entitled to the reimbursement of travel and provided with a lunch voucher if you volunteer for three hours or more in any one day.

After one year of volunteering, we will be happy to provide you with a reference that may assist with your applications for employment or higher education.
