NHS provider licence self-certification 2020
NHS Improvement now requires all NHS trusts to annually self-certify compliance against a number of specific statements - this builds on the requirement that has always been in place for Foundation Trusts. The self-certification statements set out obligations in respect of compliance with:
- NHS legislation
- NHS Constitution requirements
- Governance requirements
The Trust Board has determined that sufficient assurance has been provided by the executive during 2019/20 to enable the Trust to confirm that the statements are an accurate reflection of the Trust’s position.
Copies of the Trust’s self-certification in relation to licence conditions G6 and FT4 are available here.
