We provide dietary assessment and intervention for a range of medical conditions and nutritional issues and accept referrals from the medical team at the hospital for the following:
- Faltering growth
- Iron deficiency anaemia
- Cows milk protein allergy - delayed and immediate
- Food intolerance
- Enteral feeding (nasogastric/jejunal and gastrostomies) feeds
- Weight monitoring especially for premature babies
- Nutritional deficiencies
- Gastrointestinal symptoms eg Constipation / diarrhoea / reflux or vomiting
- Vegetarian/vegan diets
- Parenteral feeding
Immediate and multiple food allergies - seen in specialist allergy clinics
Diabetes - seen by specialist paediatric diabetes dietitian
Fussy/restrictive eating - seen alongside Speech and Language Therapist
