Whittington Health provides a Dietetic Service to Camden and Islington Foundation Trust. This service is for mental health in-patients who require advice and support related to their nutritional needs. The Trust is based on two sites, St Pancras Hospital and Highgate Mental Health Unit.

Referrals are received from the Trust to the Central Booking Service at Whittington Health and these are then triaged.

Dietetic provision offers one-to-one advice and support from dietitians for patients as well as parents, carers and staff and attendance at multi-disciplinary team meetings. In addition a dietetic assistant provides MUST (malnutrition screening tool) training for all staff.
