Career development and revalidation

When you join we discuss your objectives and during your first year with us identify your development needs. You will have reviews at 3 and at 6 months. At 12 months you will have a full appraisal where we’ll evaluate your progress, recognise achievements, focus on areas for improvement and give tools and advice to help you. There are also chances for regular progress checks in between these milestones. The Nursing & Midwifery Council’s revalidation process happens every three years to confirm you are safe to practice and adhere to professional standards. Our Clinical Education team can help you stay on track and offers sessions to support you towards revalidation.
