A big thank you to Peter Farmer and Pat Gordon

During his term Peter was vice chairman of the Whittington and amongst other things chair of the audit committee. In his nine years at the Whittington Peter has taken an active and central role in the development of many successful projects, in particular the opening of our new building and the regeneration of the hospital.
Pat Gordon joined the Whittington in the same year and was chair of the Improving Working Lives group. Her dedication and vast knowledge on the practice and theory of working whole systems has seen Pat in the last nine years improve the working lives of staff.
At a party Pat and Peter held in the social club on Tuesday 22 January for their Whittington colleagues and friends, chief executive David Sloman, inspired by attending a pantomime of Cinderella at the weekend, had those gathered shouting 'Oh yes they did' and 'they are right behind you' to his comments on the enormous contribution Pat and Peter had made to the Whittington and the considerable support they have given to staff. In response, speaking for them both, Pat Gordon had three wishes for the Whittington - that it continued to be successful; to sort out the remainder of the estate and that it carried on attracting the high calibre of staff that it always has.
