When your child reaches the top of our waiting list, you will receive a letter from the team, inviting you to contact us to book a first appointment in our Autism Assessment Clinic. It is therefore important we have your up-to-date contact details. If you move house or your contact details change while your child is waiting for assessment, please make sure you let us know. There is a high demand for the Team’s service so after referral there is likely to be a wait, of a year or more, until a child’s assessment begins. We are aware this wait is long so we wanted to share with you some of the many things you can do to support your child’s development during this period.
