Humans
This half term we have been learning across different subjects under the themed topic of ‘Humans’.
We have been looking closely at the human skeleton and the different bones which allow us to function as beings.
We also looked at other organisms and their skeletons and created a ‘Funnybones’ art display.
We focused on the stories ‘The Arrival’ and ‘Refugee Boy’, highlighting economic migration and seeking asylum due to conflict/ war. As part of this, children were able to write postcards from the perspective of the family member left behind in their own country while the other family members went to seek their fortune.Last updated04 Nov 2021
