Children's Community Generalist Nurses

The Childrens Community Nursing (CCN) Generalist team is a large, friendly, very skilled team of experienced paediatric nurses and support workers. They work collaboratively with community and allied health care professionals in Islington, for example: Speech and Language Therapists, Dieticians, Physiotherapists, Occupational therapists, Health Visitors, School Nurses, Special Educational Needs Schools, CAMHS. Community and Hospital based paediatricians and GPs.

 

The nursing team see children and young people in the home as well as at community sites such as hospitals, health centres, schools, children’s centres and local authority sites.
