Tessa Walker
Biography
Tessa completed her nurse training at King's College London and once qualified completed an 18 month rotation programme at Evelina London Children's Hospital. This included working on the neurology and metabolic ward, which started her passion for caring for children with epilepsy.
As the children's epilepsy nurse specialist for Islington Tessa supports and advocates the needs of children, young people and families living with epilepsy. Her role includes education, training, liaison, advise, home and school visits, as well as epilepsy clinics at The Whittington Hospital and UCLH.
