Dr Natalie Prevatt is a General Paediatric Consultant with a special interest in Infectious Diseases, Tropical, and Travel Medicine. She works as a consultant in the Ifor ward at Whittington Health and also has general paediatric clinics, infection, and vaccine clinics.


Natalie trained at the University of Wales College of Medicine, graduating in 2005. After working in south and east Africa, she moved to London to continue her general paediatric training at the Chelsea and Westminster Hospital and University College Hospital. She completed the first Travel Medicine fellowship at the Hospital for Tropical Diseases, and then Paediatric Infection special Interest training at Great Ormond Street Hospital.

Special Interests

Natalie is the only UK paediatrician with GMC approved Travel Medicine training and publishes travel related guidance for children with immunosuppression and HIV. She is the education lead for the British Global Travel Health Association and sits on the board of the International Child Health Group and the International Society of Travel Medicine. Natalie runs a monthly Travel Medicine clinic for children from all over the UK.
