Are you a band 5 or 6 nurse looking to take the next steps in your career? Or are you interested in kicking off your career as an Emergency Department (ED) Assistant? Or do you just want to take advantage of a free teaching session on resus or ED skills?
If so, then please come and join us at our specialist recruitment and simulation open day on Saturday 1 April.
As well as being able to meet the team and tour our ED, you’ll also be able to:
- Take advantage of a free taster learning session in resuscitation skills in our state of the art simulation centre
- Get advice on revalidation and earn two hours continuous professional development (CPD) training
- Have an informal interview on the day
- Enjoy a free lunch, tea and coffee
Kerry Wykes, Emergency Department Matron at Whittington Health, explains: “We have a number of exciting opportunities to join our friendly and dedicated team and we’re really looking forward to hosting our open day.
“Whether you are an experienced or newly qualified nurse with an passion for emergency care or a healthcare assistant wanting to take on your first job in ED, then we’d encourage you to come along and meet the team.
“As well as being able to walk away with a potential job offer on the day, you’ll also be able to take advantage of some free resuscitation and ED skills training, which counts towards two hours of CPD training.”
The event runs from 10.00am – 3.00pm and prospective candidates can pre-book a visit by emailing whh-tr.EDMatron@nhs.net or simply come along and see us between 10.00am and 11.00am on the day.
