The Queen sends Easter joy to patients and colleagues

Her Majesty The Queen has delivered some springtime joy to patients and colleagues across Whittington Health thanks to a special daffodil delivery.

The traditional springtime gift is sent from the Queen’s Sandringham estate around the same time every year to selected hospitals across London – a tradition that goes back 30 years.
 
Philippa Davies, our Director of Nursing and Patient Experience, was on hand to receive the blooms and delivered the daffodils to some of our wards and departments, she said: “It is a real honour to receive such a special spring delivery. Our daffodils are starting to bloom and are already helping to make stays and visits to our hospital a little brighter.”
