Players from the Tottenham Hotspur Under-21 team paid a very special visit to young patients at Whittington Health to spread some eggscellent Easter fun.
The popular football club has a long-standing relationship with the north London trust, and doing their bit to brighten the hospital stays of its younger patients were goalkeeper, Harry Voss, and midfielder, Joe Pritchard, by handing out some Easter goodies.
The players, who brought a range of Easter eggs and sweet goodies, met a number of young fans who were over the moon to meet some of the club’s younger talent.
Sarah Otley, play lead for Whittington Health, said: “We are hugely grateful to the players for taking the time to visit the children. There was a lot of excitement on the ward and it was lovely to see the look on some our younger patients’ faces – and even some of the parents’ faces too – as they got to meet the players. It can be very difficult for our younger patients to spend time in hospital, that’s why visits like this are so important, and I’d like to thank the club and the players for their generosity.”
