Stay Safe this New Year

31 Dec 2020
London remains in Tier 4 over New Year
Full story
London is in Tier4 of the Covid-19 restrictions which means that despite it being New Years Eve and traditionally a time when would normally go out to celebrate, it is important this year to stay at home where possible.
If you need urgent care, our emergency department and maternity services remain open throughout New Year as normal.
Around 1 in 3 people will have no symptoms with the new strain of coronavirus. Please follow this simple guidance to stay safe tonight.
- do not mix indoors with households who are not in your support bubble.
- allow fresh air in when you are indoors
- only leave home for food, medical reasons, exercise or work
- do not travel unless absolutely necessary
Treating minor conditions this New Year
For minor conditions, you can seek advice and get the medicines you may need from your local pharmacy. Give them a call for advice, or pop in. If you’re ordering medication, allow them time to process your prescription.
