Operating Department Practitioners

As an ODP you’ll be part of a team of over 15 professionals and well-supported as you progress through your career. Days are busy and varied with much opportunity for clinical and non-clinical learning.

 

We have theatres for orthopaedics, trauma and emergency, gynaecology, general surgery, day surgery, pain management and urology. There are also treatment rooms for minor operations and cystoscopies, plus two recovery rooms.

 

The new state of the art Day Treatment Centre provides four theatres and three endoscopy rooms. We are at the forefront of day case treatment in London and our services are popular with patients. We are recognised by the Department of Health and the British Association of Day Surgery as being one of the leading providers of day surgery in the country.

 

Appraisals happen regularly and there are also informal meetings and check-ins with staff to ensure you are supported and able to progress whilst working confidently and without concerns.
