Diagnostic Radiographers

Here at the Whittington, we have a compact radiography department that provides services to both inpatients and outpatients. We have two Siemens MRI scanners, two Siemens CT scanners, a PET-CT scanner, two fluoroscopy / interventional rooms, a DEXA room, dedicated ultrasound rooms, a mammography suite and six plain film x-ray rooms which cover a range of patients. We also have three theatre machines which are routinely used within urology, trauma, and orthopaedic cases.  We also have a team who work within the Wood Green Community Diagnostics Centre where there is plain film and ultrasound although this is soon to be expanded to include cross-sectional imaging.

 

We have excellent training opportunities within the department for modality training and opportunities for professional development into an enhanced, advanced and consultant level practice.
