Registration and Funeral Arrangements

Registering your stillbirth (over 24 weeks or neonatal death). Registration will need to be completed prior to making funeral arrangements for your baby.

Remembering Your Baby

Memory Tree - We have a memory tree in the Labour Ward Reception that was started in October 2023 during Baby Loss Awareness Week. If you would like a star added to the tree for your baby please email the Bereavement Midwives on whh-tr.bereavementmidwife@nhs.net and we will be happy to do that for you.

Act of Remembrance
- every year on the 1st Sunday in February at 3pm the hospital holds an Act of Remembrance for Babies and Children. The Act of Remembrance is for people of all faiths or none who have experienced the loss of a child or baby before, during, or after birth. It is an event marked with reading of poems, singing songs, saying prayers and times of reflections. Anyone is welcome to join us. If you would like to added to our circulation list please contact our Chaplaincy via email on whh-tr.chaplaincy@nhs.net
