Biography
Professional Development Nurse
Robert qualified in 1995 and has worked in various emergency departments in London throughout his career. Currently employed as the departments Professional Development Nurse, Robert's role is primarily to focus on the education and support provision to the nursing staff. In addition the role involves taking part in the development of the nursing workforce in the department, such as developing the Major's Assessment Nurse role which allows senior nurses to assess and refer patients directly to the admitting teams in the hospital. Robert also teaches on a number of external postgraduate courses and particularly enjoys teaching on multidisciplinary courses.
