Whittington marathon raffle winners
The Whittington marathon raffle was drawn on 14 April 2008 by Mrs Barbara Roche chair of the Building for Babies appeal, following the Flora London marathon on Sunday 13 April.
The winners were:
First prize: Tony Woods - Apple iPod
Second prize: Joan Boyle - Restaurant voucher for £50
Third prize: Esra Kurnaz - £30 Argos voucher
Tony Woods, pictured with B4B appeals manager Marjorie Isabelle, who works at Tufnell Park underground station said he was thrilled to win the Apple iPod nano. "I was going this very day to buy my son one for his birthday and so this could not have come at a better time".
