Sponsorship

Research within the NHS requires a sponsor organisation to take responsibility for the design, management and conduct of the study. Sponsors must review research and provide assurance that research studies meet the appropriate scientific quality standards and obtains all necessary regulatory approvals prior to it commencing.

 

If you are a student, your university will be the sponsor organisation.
