Dr Duncan Carmichael
Duncan Carmichael graduated from the University of Glasgow Medical School in 1998. After a year and a half working in hospitals in Scotland, he completed three years training as a junior doctor in Paediatrics in East London. After spending a year working in Emergency Medicine in Australia, he completed his training in Emergency Medicine in North East London, working in the Homerton Hospital, UCLH, the Royal London Hospital and Newham University Hospital. After completing his fellowship exam with the College of Emergency Medicine, he has been a Consultant at the Whittington since August 2011. He has always been interested in Emergency Medicine since watching the BBC's "Casualty" programme as a teenager, and recently directed a short video to encourage medical students into a career in Emergency Medicine.
