Biography

Adrian O’Gorman obtained a degree in anatomy with basic medical science from the University of London in 1992 and qualified as a Doctor in 1995 at University College London Medical School, where he also carried out his basic surgical training. Subsequently he went on to do his specialist orthopaedic training on the Middlesex rotation in North London, working at the Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital, Great Ormond Street, UCL Hospital, The Whittington and the North Middlesex Hospitals. Towards the end of his training he undertook a Fellowship at the Mater Hospital in Sydney Australia.

After becoming a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of England in 2006 and completing his higher surgical training, he was entered into the GMC Specialist Register in 2008. He was appointed Consultant Trauma & Orthopaedic Surgeon at The Whittington Hospital in February 2009. His specialist interests include foot & ankle surgery, paediatric orthopaedics and medical education.

Mr O’Gorman was appointed Honorary Lecturer at UCL Medical School in 2014 and Royal College of Surgeons of England Surgical Tutor for the Whittington Hospital in 2016.
