CQC Inspections

The Care Quality Commission (CQC) is an independent health and adult social care regulator.

They make sure health and social care services provide people with safe, effective, compassionate, high-quality care and encourage continuous improvement.

CQC do this by monitoring, inspecting and regulating services to make sure they meet fundamental standards of quality and safety and they publish what they find, including performance ratings to help people choose care.

Whittington Health has three services registered with CQC: The Whittington Hospital, Simmons House and Hanley Primary Care Centre.
